Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-driven Litigation Paralegal to join our reputable legal team focused on insurance defense litigation. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-exposure cases in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. As a key member of the litigation support team, you’ll be relied upon for your organizational talent, litigation knowledge, and ability to manage multiple priorities with precision and professionalism. You’ll work closely with attorneys, insured clients, insurance adjusters, and expert witnesses to ensure cases are trial-ready and executed with excellence.
Key Responsibilities
  • Subpoena Management: Draft and issue subpoenas for records and witness appearances
  • Deposition & Mediation Scheduling: Coordinate and manage calendars for depositions, mediations, and other key litigation events
  • Medical Record Analysis: Review, summarize, and prepare detailed medical chronologies
  • Discovery Management: Draft and organize discovery requests and responses in alignment with case strategies
  • Communicate with medical and liability experts regarding case evaluations and testimony
  • Serve as a liaison for insured clients and insurance carriers, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality
  • Trial Preparation: Assist in assembling trial binders, exhibits, witness lists, and logistical planning
  • Heavy Scheduling: Coordinate court dates, depositions, client meetings, and internal team calendars
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience as a paralegal in insurance defense litigation
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities; professionalism in client and team interactions
