A workers’ compensation paralegal communicates with clients, an adjuster, and attorneys on a daily basis. In this role, your responsibilities are to request and analyze medical records associated with claims, investigate the provided information, and verify charges and bills for the claim. Additional duties include developing and updating case information, maintaining calendars, organizing client files, and assisting with trial preparation. You may also serve as a liaison for the attorneys you work under. There may be cases where you need to interview witnesses and draft statements for the record.
