Our client, a respected and established law firm in Charleston, SC, is seeking an experienced Defense Litigation Paralegal to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a high-performing, client-focused legal environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and respond to complex discovery requests.

  • Prepare detailed medical chronologies and case summaries.

  • Summarize deposition transcripts for attorney review.

  • Coordinate depositions, hearings, and other key case events.

  • Draft, issue, and track subpoenas.

  • Monitor case timelines to help ensure deadlines are met.

  • Identify and coordinate necessary reports with attorneys and staff.

  • Maintain case files, manage documents, and assist with trial preparation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of litigation paralegal experience.

  • Strong knowledge of discovery procedures, legal processes, and case management.

  • Experience preparing medical chronologies and deposition summaries.
