This role at Softchoice, isdesigned to follow through on our long-standing promiseto do right by our customers.  Customers increasingly need large scale data sets supporting AI workloads alongside legacy workloads with security, business resiliency and governance creating challenges to achieve their goals.  In this new era of disruption, speed and complexity, IT sellers aren'tsimply selling thevirtuesof the modern datacenter infrastructure and cloud.  These specialist sellers are helping customers understand their potential as modernizing legacydatacenterand networking infrastructures allows customers to lay the groundwork for their future.You will workclosely with the account teams for our customers todevelop andset inmotion advanced Datacenter, AI and storage hybrid infrastructures, public cloud and network infrastructure and security solutions, which in turn willhelp customers succeed and thrive. 

Who you will be working with:

  • This role will report to Modern Infrastructure Sales Leader with accountability to the Modern Infrastructure business at Softchoice. 
  • You will work with our most strategic customers looking to modernize their infrastructure in datacenter and or public cloud, connected, secured and managed. 
  • You and your team will be directly supported by Solution Architects and Technical Architects, bringing technical acumen early in the sales cycle to ensure our customers find fast value in their discussions with you. 
  • You will collaborate with account executives, sales leadership and GTM team members, in partnership to ensure we grow our Modern Infrastructure business together. 

What you will do:

  • Growand developHybrid IT Solutions and Services that include a mix of Data Center, Networking, Public Cloud, Professional Services, and/or Managed Services 
  • Leveragethe challenger Sales methodology andaninsights-driven sales processes,along withacurrent knowledge of industry and technical trends,to customize solutions for customer needs and businessgoals 
  • Collaboratewith District Sales Teams and Leaders to create and execute a strategy to acquire new opportunities within targeted accounts 
  • Buildand maintainaccount andmarketpenetration plans on assigned accounts 
  • Quarterback opportunities from the point of assessing customer needs through closing deals and driving diversification 
  • Engagepre-sales and internal support to provide outstanding, end-to-end service 
  • Nurture strategic relationships with key Hybrid IT partners and vendors 

What you bring to the table:

Professional Experience in Infrastructure Modernization: 

  • 10+ years of experience successfully selling technology solutions in dedicated sales or technical pre-sales roles. 
  • Extensive experience aligning business objectives and initiatives with relevant technology requirements. 
  • Proven track record in identifying, developing, and driving sales for legacy infrastructure environments, including compute, storage, and networking within Data Center infrastructure. 
  • In-depth knowledge of Cisco product lines and solutions as they pertain to modern infrastructure needs. 
  • Strong expertise in Data Center, hybrid cloud, and public cloud models, with experience across Azure, AWS, Google, and Managed Services. 
  • Adept at building relationships and engaging with customer decision makers involved in infrastructure modernization efforts. 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage relationships at all organizational levels and effectively mobilize stakeholders to achieve critical deliverables. 
  • Exceptional communication skills, especially in conveying complex modern infrastructure concepts  
  • Recognized demand generation capabilities, focused on proactive selling rather than solely responding to existing demand. 
  • Documented success in developing and increasing sales for Managed and Professional Services offerings. 
  • Creative, strategic thinker with a client-focused service approach. 
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently within a designated Sales District, up to 25% of the time.

Compensation:


A reasonable estimate of the current base pay for this position is $106,000 to $150,000 annually + 40% as target incentives. 

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, education, and related certification. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ.
