Job description

We're seeking a driven Sr. Account Executive for our Telecom category to drive media sales across multiple platforms to enterprise Telecom advertisers. This role presents significant opportunities to both grow existing accounts and develop new business.
Core responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including C-Suite executives
- Develop strategic media plans to achieve clients' acquisition, retention, and brand engagement goals
- Optimize campaign performance and ensure client satisfaction
- Prospect new clients and pitch our advertising solutions
- Negotiate and close deals
- Manage existing client relationships through excellent partnership
- This role requires five days a week of in office presence with travel as needed.
Key job responsibilities
- Deliver the highest level of sales and customer service to our clients.
- Prospect, penetrate and create new relationships with clients.
- Drive deals to closure in through new and renewed business development.
- Retain and grow revenue from existing advertisers.
- Understand Amazon's display advertising opportunities and tools to help build relevant advertising solutions for our advertisers.
- Utilize Sales CRM tools to track all pertinent account information and sales progress as well as forecast and prioritize to achieve quarterly quota goals.
- Understand and learn about the e-commerce industry and competitive environment including knowledge of competitive product offerings

Team Telecom consists of Account Executives who excel in demonstrating customer focus, delivering results, building trusted client relationships through proactive engagement, and maintaining the highest standards for themselves and their partners. Our mission centers on three key principles that drive
our success. First, we foster an environment that balances individual ownership with team collaboration, promoting continuous learning, team unity, professional development, and expanded influence. Second, we develop deep expertise in the Telecom industry, understanding our clients' products, objectives, and challenges to build more integrated and valuable partnerships.
Finally, we utilize customer feedback as a foundation for partnership enhancement, maintaining an active feedback loop that drives continuous improvement in our processes and products.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of digital media ad sales experience
- Experience building new customer relationships, closing sales and generating revenue
- 5+ years of programmatic advertising experience
- Experience exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach or equivalent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with and deep understanding of advertising technologies (i.e., ad server, DSP)
- Experience managing complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders, including C-suite executives and marketing decision-makers, with the ability to articulate ROI and demonstrate advertising effectiveness through data-driven insights

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
