Job description

Spectrum Customizer is seeking an Implementation Consultant to join our growing team. Our headquarters are in Southeast Portland, Oregon and we are open to this role being onsite or hybrid.
Spectrum is a Platform-as-a-Service product customization engine powering many of today's top brand experiences, such as XBox, Stanley, Leatherman and Carhartt. Our platform delivers industry-leading 3D product visualization, ecommerce and factory integrations, a self-service admin platform, and robust analytics.
The Implementation Consultant serves as a trusted advisor throughout the implementation and project lifecycle, helping clients successfully launch and optimize the Spectrum platform. This role combines technical project leadership with a consultative approach, working closely with clients to understand their business goals, recommend solutions, and partner with internal teams to deliver successful outcomes. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, technically curious, and confident leading conversations with both clients and cross-functional teams.
Project Expectations
  • Lead client implementations from discovery through launch.
  • Understand client business objectives and recommend solutions aligned with Spectrum's platform capabilities.
  • Manage implementation initiatives including development, UX/UI, 3D assets, data configuration, integrations, QA, and client feedback.
  • Create and maintain implementation plans, project schedules, and project documentation.
  • Lead implementation meetings and serve as the primary client contact throughout the project.
  • Partner with internal teams to identify risks, solve problems, and keep projects moving forward.
  • Ensure project teams and third-party partners have the information needed for successful delivery.
  • Review deliverables to ensure solutions meet both business goals and client expectations.
  • Contribute to Monthly Business Reviews with department leadership.

Professional Expectations
  • 5+ years of experience in implementation consulting, technical project management, solutions consulting, or a similar client-facing technical role.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS, software implementation, ecommerce, or technology platforms.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Demonstrate curiosity, adaptability, sound judgment, and a consultative mindset.
  • Collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams while building client confidence.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, documentation, and client experience.
