Job description

About The Role
We're hiring an Implementation Consultant to own Fulfil's most complex ERP launches and help shape how implementations are run at scale. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who has done this before and knows where implementations fail, how to prevent it, and when to make hard calls. You are accountable not only for your own projects, but for raising the standard of delivery across the team. You own outcomes, mentor others through real work, and help turn experience into better systems, playbooks, and guardrails.
Location: Miami, FL (in-office 5 days per week)
Type: Full-Time
Travel: Up to 50% across North America & UK
Expected Start Date: Immediately
What You'll Do
Lead High-Complexity Implementations
  • Lead large, multi-workstream ERP implementations from discovery through go-live and stabilization
  • Own multiple concurrent projects while prioritizing risk across a portfolio
  • Act as escalation owner when implementations become blocked, ambiguous, or off track

Own Execution Strategy
  • Define and maintain execution plans as the source of truth for scope, sequencing, risks, and tradeoffs
  • Make judgment calls that balance speed, correctness, and long-term scalability
  • Identify recurring failure modes and drive structural fixes rather than one-off workarounds

Deep Discovery and Solution Design
  • Perform fit-gap analysis and design scalable Fulfil solutions grounded in real operational constraints
  • Translate messy, real-world operations into clean system architecture and execution paths

Be the Point of Accountability
  • Serve as the owner that merchants and internal teams rely on for clarity and direction
  • Set expectations early, surface risks clearly, and say hard things before they become launch blockers
  • Step into struggling projects and stabilize them to a successful outcome

Mentor and Multiply Impact
  • Mentor Implementation Associates and newer Specialists through live project work
  • Model strong judgment, ownership, and decision-making under pressure
  • Codify learnings into playbooks, templates, and guardrails that improve future implementations

Partner Cross-Functionally
  • Work closely with Sales, Engineering, and Merchant Success on complex deals and handoffs
  • Provide structured feedback based on repeated merchant pain points and implementation realities
  • Support high-risk accounts and executive escalations when needed

Be On-Site When It Matters
  • Travel to merchant locations for complex cutovers, workshops, and go-lives
  • Lead on-site execution with confidence and authority
  • Represent Fulfil as a trusted operator and not just a software vendor

Who You Are
  • 5 to 8 years of experience leading ERP implementations, operations consulting, or complex SaaS deployments
  • Have led multiple end-to-end ERP implementations through go-live, including high-complexity or high-risk launches
  • Proven ability to own outcomes across several concurrent projects
  • Strong systems thinker with a deep understanding of how order, inventory, fulfillment, and accounting workflows interconnect
  • Comfortable being the most accountable person in the room when things go sideways
  • Trusted communicator who can lead merchants, challenge assumptions, and influence internal teams
  • High ownership with low ego and a willingness to step in wherever needed
  • Comfortable giving and receiving direct feedback
  • Willing to travel and work on-site when it materially improves outcomes

How We Use AI
Implementation Consultants are expected to use AI as a force multiplier, not a crutch. You will:
  • Use Fulfil's internal AI tools to pull historical context, configurations, and prior launch learnings
  • Use AI to draft, refine, and standardize execution plans, risk logs, and post-launch summaries
  • Feed learnings back into shared templates and guardrails to improve future implementations
  • Use AI to analyze technical documentation (EDI specs, API docs, partner guides) and surface risks early

Bonus Points If You
  • Have led ERP implementations involving native accounting or financial modules
  • Have worked deeply with Shopify, Amazon, EDI, or 3PL integrations
  • Have mentored teammates in prior roles

You Shouldn't Apply If
  • You prefer well-defined problems and fixed playbooks
  • You want to manage implementations rather than own outcomes
  • You are uncomfortable getting into details such as data, workflows, and edge cases
  • You avoid difficult conversations with merchants or internal teams
  • You need a consensus or perfect information before moving forward
  • You see on-site work and travel as a burden rather than a way to do better work
  • You are looking for a low-variance role with predictable days and narrow responsibility

This role rewards judgment, curiosity, and accountability. It is not for everyone, and that is intentional.
About Fulfil
Fulfil is the modern ERP for commerce. Built to power the fastest-growing eCommerce brands, our platform brings together order management, inventory, accounting, and more, turning complex operations into a strategic advantage.
We're trusted by brands like HexClad, Ridge Wallet, Caraway, and Resident, and backed by people who want to change the way merchant operations are run. We believe in deep work, radical accountability, and building tools that let sharp people move faster.
What It's Really Like to Work at Fulfil
We're building the ERP that fast-growing eCommerce brands actually want to use, which means we're taking on entrenched enterprise software with a small, intense team.
Big Tech and VC-backed startups are 400-horsepower engines running at 25% efficiency. They have bloated teams, endless meetings, six months to ship a feature. At Fulfil, we're a 200-horsepower engine running at 100%. We're bootstrapped, profitable, and growing steadily. No permission layers. No "alignment meetings" about alignment meetings. Everyone ships everyday.
The work: You'll own meaningful problems with direct customer impact. Our customers run 24/7 operations across time zones, and when they're launching on BFCM or scaling from $10M to $100M, they need us to move fast. That urgency flows downstream. This is high-intensity work with real consequences.
What high-intensity actually means:
  • Most weeks are 45-55 hours; peak seasons (BFCM, major launches) hit 60+
  • Occasional off-hours calls with our distributed team or for customer launches
  • Long days (10+ hours) aren't uncommon
  • The work doesn't pause even if we try to protect your focus time

What you get in return:
  • Real autonomy over execution (we measure impact, not facetime)
  • Ownership of problems that matter to real businesses
  • Unlimited PTO we actually want you to use (we'd rather you rest than burn out)
  • If you've ever felt like you're capable of 10x more than your current environment allows you to output, that's the gap between your potential and your actual impact. Fulfil eliminates that gap.

You'll thrive here if: you're the type who gets energy from building something that matters, want ownership over outcomes vs tasks, are open to receiving regular, direct feedback in public Slack channels from multiple people, and like moving fast without red tape.
This isn't for you if: you need a strict 40-hour boundary, prefer structured oversight, or want work to be a contained part of your life.
