Human Resources Administrator

Hempstead, TX | $50,000 - $65,000 per year


TruBlu HR Solutions is seeking an experienced Human Resources Administrator for a growing manufacturing company in Hempstead, TX. This position will serve as a stand-alone HR professional, overseeing all Human Resources functions while partnering closely with company leadership to maintain a compliant, efficient, and positive workplace culture.


Important: This role is sometimes referred to internally as an HR Manager; however, there are no direct reports. The ideal candidate enjoys working independently, wearing multiple hats, and supporting all aspects of HR in a smaller manufacturing environment.


Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday
  • 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Hempstead, TX 77445


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting and hiring processes
  • Coordinate onboarding activities, orientations, background checks, drug screenings, and pre-employment physicals
  • Maintain employee records, attendance tracking, PTO/vacation records, and HR documentation
  • Administer employee benefits and enrollment processes
  • Prepare documentation for bi-weekly payroll processing
  • Generate and maintain weekly efficiency reports
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Develop, implement, and enforce company policies and procedures
  • Partner with leadership to address employee relations matters and disciplinary actions
  • Support employee performance evaluation processes
  • Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and ensure documentation is organized and up to date
  • Handle all HR-related information with the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Human Resources experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or similar environments
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Experience working with ERP systems
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities


Preferred:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Previous workplace safety experience
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and compliance requirements
