Job description

Soni Resources is partnering with a client near Hamilton, NJ, on the search for an Administrative Assistant - HR.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare HR letters, forms, spreadsheets, and other documents across Word, Excel, HRIS, and presentation tools
  • Direct applicant and employee inquiries and support daily HR operations
  • Maintain and file confidential HR records and create/update personnel files
  • Assist with audits, missing documentation, unemployment claims, wage verifications, and CARI tracking
  • Support recruitment tasks including reference checks, credentialing, postings, onboarding, and orientation follow up
  • Process life insurance enrollments/terminations and assist with benefits questions and enrollment
  • Handle HRIS data entry, benefits research, billing and AMEX reconciliation
  • Take meeting minutes and ER interview notes; proofread HR documents
  • Respond to employment verifications, student loan forgiveness requests, and manage exit interview tracking
  • Distribute labor law posters, assign/deactivate gas pins, and order department supplies/furniture
  • Provide front desk coverage and assist with HR events and department activities

Qualifications/Skills:
  • MS Office Suite
  • HR exposure (preferred)
  • Non-Profit experience (preferred)
  • Customer service
  • Database management

Compensation: $22 - $25/ Hr
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
