Position Overview:
The Human Resources Manager will lead all day-to-day HR operations and serve as a key partner to leadership in building and maintaining a high-performing workforce. This role requires strong recruiting expertise, knowledge of HR compliance, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and plays a critical role in supporting company culture, employee engagement, and organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting and talent acquisition for all company locations
  • Manage employee relations, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and terminations
  • Support workforce planning, hiring, layoffs, and union-related matters
  • Implement and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks
  • Administer HRIS system (Insperity) and maintain accurate employee records
  • Partner with CFO on benefits administration, renewals, and open enrollment
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Plan and coordinate company events and employee engagement initiatives
  • Serve as a resource for managers and employees on HR-related matters

Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of HR laws, compliance, and best practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • High level of professionalism and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience with HRIS systems (Insperity preferred)

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Experience as an HR Generalist, HR Manager, or similar role
  • Strong recruiting and talent acquisition experience required
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and perform general office tasks
  • Occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to use standard office equipment and computers

Work Environment:

  • Primarily office-based with occasional exposure to manufacturing and outdoor conditions
