Company: The Best Roofing company of it's kind in the Detroit and Grand Rapids markets. 30 Year old family-owned business providing roof replacement, storm restoration, siding and gutters with over 750 4.8 Star Ratings.

Position: Human Resource HR Manager
The Human Resources Manager will play an active role with our administration, implementing various aspects of human resources management-such as labor relations, staffing, performance management, wellness, workers compensation and payroll.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Act as a resource for managers dealing with employees and advice on legal requirements, internal policies and procedures.
• Lead the prompt resolution of employee relations issues and initiate proactive measures to minimize related matters
• Participate in the investigation and resolution of on-going employee relations problems, anticipate problems whenever possible, and develop, recommend and initiate appropriate steps for resolution.
• Ensure that the process of performance appraisal is completed according to established rules.
• Develop and maintain reporting tools and techniques to capture and distribute meaningful data and metrics related to HR areas
• Represent human resources in different meetings.
• Compile data, statistics and other information, including doing research, if necessary
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• A minimum of 5-7 years of consistent HR Management role.
• Extensive experience in HR legislation, benefits & payroll.
• Experience using technology based solutions for Human Resource application
• Strong abilities in negotiating, and change management
• Knowledge of federal, state and local employment, wage and salary laws and regulations
• Ability to interpret and advise on the application of EEO/AA laws
• Ability to analyze and assess training and development needs
