HR Assistant (Temporary Through December 31, 2026)


Compensation: $20.00-$23.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications


We are seeking a meticulous and highly organized HR Assistant for a temporary assignment through December 31, 2026. In this role, you will support a variety of HR operations and data administration activities, including extensive data entry across multiple HR systems. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining accurate and confidential employee records.


This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, systems and processes, takes pride in accuracy and organization, and is comfortable managing a high volume of transactions while maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys learning new technologies and takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work.


Please note: This is a temporary position expected to continue through December 31, 2026. Continued employment beyond this date is not guaranteed.


Duties Include

  • Input, monitor and process HRIS data events to ensure accuracy, completeness and data integrity across multiple systems.
  • Monitor, validate and process employee documentation related to hires, job changes, leaves and other employee lifecycle events.
  • Validate I-9s, background checks and drug screens.
  • Partner with People & Culture to ensure all onboarding requirements are completed accurately and on time.
  • Process employee terminations and leave-related transactions.
  • Generate, validate, upload and reconcile reports across multiple systems.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve data discrepancies.
  • Support payroll administration activities to ensure transactions are completed accurately and within established deadlines.
  • Assist with responding to employee, manager and People & Culture inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive employee and company information.
  • Document processes and contribute to continuous improvement efforts that increase efficiency and accuracy.


Desired Experience

  • 2+ years of administrative support, data entry, HR, payroll or related experience.
  • Experience using HRIS platforms; Workday and ADP experience preferred.
  • Experience working with large volumes of data while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new systems, workflows and AI-enabled workplace tools.
  • Comfortable leveraging technology and AI tools to improve efficiency, support administrative tasks and enhance productivity while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality and sound judgment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, including sorting, filtering, formulas and data validation.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records and data integrity.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to identify discrepancies, troubleshoot issues and resolve problems independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
