Affordable Housing Operations Director
Location: Atlanta, GA
Salary: $95,000 โ $105,000
We are seeking an experienced operations leader with a strong background in affordable housing, HUD compliance, and team management to oversee daily operations for a large senior living community in Atlanta, GA.
This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can bring structure and accountability to operations, and is passionate about creating strong communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across Maintenance, Business Services, and Supportive Services
- Lead and develop onsite teams while driving operational excellence
- Ensure compliance with HUD, Fair Housing, LIHTC, and all applicable regulations
- Oversee certifications, recertifications, occupancy, and lease compliance
- Assist with budgeting, financial oversight, vendor management, and capital projects
- Support building operations, preventative maintenance, and long-term organizational growth
- Lead cross-departmental projects and improve operational processes
Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree in business, Real Estate, Finance, or related field REQUIRED
- 5โ10 years of experience in affordable housing, property management, or operations leadership
- Experience working in senior housing REQUIRED
- Strong knowledge of HUD and LIHTC compliance REQUIRED
- Proven experience managing teams and multiple departments
- Experience with budgeting, operational planning, and financial oversight
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
- CPM, HCCP, COS, or similar certifications are a plus
