Job description

Are you an organized professional who is confident applying policies fairly, communicating with residents, and helping maintain high community standards?

Sun City Lincoln Hills Community Association is seeking a Community Standards Coordinator to support the enforcement of the Associationโ€™s governing documents, including the CC&Rs, Design Guidelines, Rules and Regulations, and applicable California Civil Code.

This position plays a key role in preserving the quality, appearance, and integrity of one of Californiaโ€™s premier active adult communities by ensuring homeowners understand and comply with established community standards.

What Youโ€™ll DoAs the Community Standards Coordinator, you will:
  • Support the fair, consistent, and professional enforcement of HOA governing documents, community rules, and architectural standards.
  • Review, document, and track compliance violations from initiation through resolution.
  • Process Architectural Review applications and maintain accurate records.
  • Coordinate Compliance Committee and Architectural Review Committee meetings, including agenda preparation, posting requirements, and meeting minutes.
  • Communicate with homeowners regarding compliance matters, architectural applications, violations, and policy interpretations.
  • Maintain detailed databases and prepare reports related to compliance and architectural review activities.
  • Assist with homeowner appeals while ensuring decisions are supported by documented facts and established policies.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve complex community standards issues.
  • Recommend improvements to community standards processes and administrative procedures.
  • Provide courteous, professional customer service while handling sensitive or
  • challenging situations.

    What Weโ€™re Looking ForSuccessful candidates will have:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Five or more years of administrative experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and recordkeeping abilities.
  • Outstanding customer service and conflictresolution skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database systems.
  • Ability to interpret and consistently apply policies, procedures, and governing documents.
  • Professionalism, sound judgment, discretion, and attention to detail.
  • The ability to remain calm and effective in difficult or adversarial situations.
  • Experience working in a homeowners association, municipal code enforcement, compliance, or architectural review environment is highly desirable.

    Benefits Overview

    We offer a comprehensive benefits package including multiple medical plan options through Kaiser (HMO 0 40, HMO 1000 30) and Aetna (HMO AVN 0 100 30, NTL MCP 2000 80), with coverage available for employees, employee + children, employee + spouse, or families. Employer contributions range from 75โ€“96% depending on the plan. Dental coverage is provided through MetLife (High PPO and Low PPO) with employer contributions between 58โ€“80%, and vision benefits are offered through Aetna (Vision Core and Vision Plus) with a 100% employer contribution. Employees also receive access to the NexGen Employee Assistance Program (EAP) through Paychex, offering counseling, mental health support, financial advising, and more. Our 401(k)-retirement plan allows contributions after 30 days, with an employer match of up to 4% beginning after one year.

    Additional benefits include a Flexible Spending Account, Long-Term Disability, Life Insurance equal to one yearโ€™s salary (with voluntary supplemental options), and optional coverage for short-term disability, accident, hospitalization, illness, and legal assistance. Benefits begin on the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment. Paid time off includes vacation accruing at .0385 hours per hour worked (approximately 10 days per year, usable after 90 days), 9 paid holidays plus one floating holiday, and 40 hours of sick leave per year.
