Property Accounting Manager – Go Store It
Location: Charlotte, NC

Are you a hands‑on accounting leader ready to take the next step in your career? Do you thrive in fast‑paced environments, love mentoring teams, and know your way around Yardi? If so, we want to meet you!

We're looking for a sharp, driven Accounting Manager to lead our property management accounting team. You'll play a key role in delivering accurate financials, optimizing month‑end processes, and supporting a diverse portfolio of real estate assets across the U.S.

What You’ll Do:
  • Lead and coach a team of senior and property accountants
  • Oversee full-cycle accounting for real estate entities
  • Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financials
  • Manage bank reconciliations, journal entries, accruals & more
  • Record key transactions (sales, purchases, refinancing)
  • Process AP and manage intercompany reconciliations
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting for investors and stakeholders
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with property teams
  • Support audits, tax prep, and due diligence efforts
  • Drive process improvements and support operational excellence
What You Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree required (CPA a big plus!)
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience (real estate or property management preferred)
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with Yardi (property + investment accounting modules preferred)
  • Strong leadership skills — you know how to manage, mentor, and motivate
  • Excellent communication and time management abilities
