Job description
The Clearwater Housing Development Corporation (CHDC) is an asset management company that provides innovative, progressive, and affordable property management. We deliver our services with integrity, pride, and efficiency for all of our stakeholders.
We are seeking an Assistant Property Manager with at least two years of management experience. The Assistant Property Manager will provide oversight and business acumen toward administering lease renewals, rent collection, delinquency management, evictions, and applicable waiting lists while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
The work is performed in a variety of environments under the direction of the Property Manager and general oversight of the Senior Property Manager. This is a full-time, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm benefits-eligible position in Clearwater, FL.
Required Competencies & Experience:
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of experience, education, and training may substitute for a degree.
  • Two years of progressively responsible experience in property management.
  • Computer proficiency in Windows operating system and MS Office software. Experience with File Vision, Yardi, and/or HAB software is helpful.
  • Possession of valid Florida Driver’s License.
  • Strong understanding of the laws and standards that apply to property management, such as Fair Housing Laws, Local and State Building Codes.
