Group Housing Coordinator

Opal Collection | Multi-Property Portfolio

Opal Collection is seeking an experienced and highly organized Group Housing Coordinator (GHC) to support a portfolio of up to 10 incredible hotels and resorts. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves organization, and enjoys being at the center of the action from sales turnover through group arrival.
This position is full-time, in-person. Choice of office location in Sarasota, Florida or Delray Beach, Florida

Position Overview

This role is responsible for managing and optimizing group room inventory across a portfolio of luxury and lifestyle hotels, ensuring alignment with revenue strategy while delivering seamless execution for group clients. As a key partner to Revenue Management, this position plays an active role in monitoring group pickup trends, managing room block utilization, identifying wash risk, and protecting inventory for optimal performance. This is not an event planning role. It is a revenue-integrated position focused on inventory control, group block performance, and data-driven decision support. Key Responsibilities

  • Own and actively manage group room blocks across multiple properties; Monitor pickup vs forecast; Partner with Revenue Management to optimize inventory; Identify risks and opportunities; Maintain accurate systems across HMS, Marsha, Opera.
  • Generate and interpret group performance reports; Provide insights on wash and pickup; Support revenue discussions with data; Conduct audits for accuracy.
  • Serve as primary contact for housing matters; Ensure accurate rooming lists, VIPs and upgrades; Communicate milestones; Resolve discrepancies.
  • Work with Revenue, Sales and Front Office; Participate in revenue meetings; Ensure alignment between contracts and inventory performance.
