What You'll Do as an Apartment Assistant Manager:

We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Manager who can oversee leasing operations while supporting the daily functions of the community. In this role, you will:

  • Lease apartments to maintain strong occupancy and contribute to revenue goals
  • Manage rent collection, posting of rent, and issuance of late notices
  • Assist with accepting move out notices, service requests, and resident transfer requests
  • Support managerial duties and help ensure smooth daily operations
  • Maintain confidentiality of all resident information and documentation
  • Prepare reports, administrative paperwork, and required leasing documentation
  • Assist in maintaining an active social media presence to increase visibility and generate traffic
  • Support, coach, and help develop the Leasing Agent to strengthen leasing performance
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents and prospective renters
  • Work collaboratively with the Property Manager and onsite team to support community success

What We're Looking For in the Apartment Assistant Manager:

  • Minimum 2 Years previous experience as an Assistant Manager in the apartment industry with strong leasing experience (REQUIRED)
  • Strong sales and leasing skills with a proven ability to close
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities
  • Professional demeanor, appearance, and work ethic
  • Flexible schedule – some weekends are REQUIRED
  • Social media or marketing content creation experience strongly preferred
  • Stable work history
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required
  • Important: Candidates must live within a 20-mile radius of the property or be willing to relocate.
