Maintenance Technician

Rose Valley Management is looking to hire a Maintenance Technician to join team!

JOB SUMMARY:

A Rose Valley Management Maintenance Technician is an essential team member who is responsible for providing excellent customer service while performing preventative and routine maintenance throughout the property grounds and in resident units.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Responsible for common area and apartment repairs (routine and preventative) in the scope of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, wall repairs, painting, plumbing and appliances.
  • Further oversight of the building’s curb appeal though building exterior inspections, cleaning, and grounds maintenance is required.
  • Customer service and attention to detail are critical skills to ensure the satisfaction of the community’s residents.
  • Responsible for daily cleaning
  • Special projects as assigned
  • Apply preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems
  • Fix potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
  • Able to attend team meetings, workshops and training sessions as required.
  • Will be required to be in an on-call rotation with other employees for emergency work orders.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Able to stand and walk inside and outside in all weather
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to endure walking, squatting, bending, balancing, climbing (ladders), kneeling, crawling and prolonged standing

As an essential player in the continued success of the property, it is important our Maintenance Technician has excellent customer service, organizational skills, and the ability to take initiative. Additionally, prior experience working in maintenance at an apartment community is a must and strong written, verbal and computer skills are preferred

  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance, drywall, painting, and snow removal.
  • Customer service first attitude.
  • Must have reliable transportation for on-call emergencies.
  • Experience working in maintenance in an apartment community
  • On call REQUIRED
