We are seeking an experienced Apartment Assistant Property Manager for our 440-unit community in Ypsilanti. If you have positive attitude and a desire for growth, we are looking for you!

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist the Manager in maintaining the highest occupancy at the highest rental rate the market can sustain and minimize expenses without sacrificing the quality of goods and services provided.
  • View apartments and prepare move in inventory 24 hours prior to scheduled move in date.
  • Assist in collecting 100% of rent due before close out each month.
  • Accurately execute and oversee property operations of and computerized systems in accordance with the Corporate Company policy, procedures, and fee management requirements.
  • Assist manager with the scheduling and directing on a daily basis, all support personnel for market readies work orders and various property tasks.
  • Responsible for the successful and consistent marketing and leasing of the property.
  • Assist in the selection and maintaining the model apartment, target units, and mini models.
  • Daily inspection and monitoring of the tour route.
  • Consistent response follow up and follow through on prospects, applicants and resident inquires.
  • Accurately prepare and deliver legal notices.
  • Personally display an active time response to residents and prospects on a daily basis, implementing a solution oriented approach top all problems and situations that arise.
  • Accurate recording of maintenance requests
