Job Opportunity: Assistant Property Manager with Inclusive Housing Resources in Fairfield, OHLooking for a steady office-based role where your customer service, organization, and communication skills can make a difference?Location: Fairfield, OH | Pay Rate: $21-$23/hour | Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-3:30 PM

Inclusive Housing Resources is hiring an Assistant Property Manager I to support affordable housing operations across the Greater Cincinnati area. This is a full-time, Monday-Friday, office-based role working 7:30 AM-3:30 PM with very limited overtime.

The best fit is someone with strong customer service skills, professional phone and email communication, Microsoft Outlook comfort, and the ability to multitask in a desk-based support role. Prior property management experience is preferred, but not required.

Benefits include: PTO, 11 paid holidays, 401(k), voluntary benefit options, and logo-wear support/provided company apparel.

This is not a high-traffic leasing office. You'll support residents behind the scenes while also communicating with guardians, payees, social service professionals, support agencies, and others connected to resident care and housing support.

What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors and serve as a professional first point of contact
  • Answer and route phone calls, emails, and voicemails
  • Enter rent payments, receipts, one-time charges, and credits into property management software
  • Send notices, assist with delinquency reports, and support resident communication
  • Help with annual recertification paperwork and income information collection
  • Maintain resident files, records, and affordable housing documentation
  • Communicate with residents, guardians, payees, support agencies, and other resident contacts
  • Enter or route work orders and follow up on maintenance communication
  • Occasionally travel to county offices, properties, inspections, or errands as needed

What We're Looking For

  • Strong customer service skills and a professional, helpful approach
  • Professional phone and email communication skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a desk-based role
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook/email and learning new systems
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Prior property management experience preferred; affordable housing, Section 8, rent collection, or payment posting experience is a plus
  • MRI property management software experience is a plus, but not required; training will be provided
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and driving history check
  • Comfortable with occasional local travel throughout Butler, Clermont, and Hamilton Counties as needed

Travel note: Occasional local travel may be required. A company vehicle is available, and mileage reimbursement is provided if a personal vehicle is used.
