What is part time corporate housing?

Part time corporate housing refers to temporary, fully furnished accommodations provided to employees or business travelers who need a place to stay for short to mid-term assignments, typically ranging from a few weeks to several months. Unlike hotels, corporate housing offers more space, amenities, and privacy, often resembling a regular apartment or home. These arrangements are ideal for professionals who do not require a permanent residence in a city but need comfortable living quarters while working on a project or assignment. Part time corporate housing is commonly used by consultants, relocating employees, or anyone needing flexible, short-term lodging solutions.

What are some common challenges faced by part time corporate housing coordinators, and how can they be managed effectively?

Part-time corporate housing coordinators often juggle multiple client needs and reservation details within limited hours, making time management a key challenge. They are frequently required to handle urgent requests or last-minute changes, so strong organizational and communication skills are essential. Building good relationships with property managers and vendors helps ensure quick resolution of issues, while leveraging property management software can streamline tasks and minimize errors. Staying proactive and maintaining clear documentation are effective strategies for managing the fast-paced, detail-oriented nature of the role.

What is the difference between Part Time Corporate Housing vs Part Time Property Manager?

While both roles require some knowledge of real estate, corporate housing emphasizes hospitality skills, whereas property management leans more toward real estate licensing and property oversight.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a part time corporate housing specialist, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Part Time Corporate Housing Specialist, you need strong organizational abilities, experience in property management or hospitality, and an understanding of leasing or short-term rental practices. Familiarity with property management software, booking platforms, and CRM systems is typically required. Excellent interpersonal communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills help build positive relationships with clients and resolve guest issues efficiently. These competencies ensure smooth operations, high occupancy rates, and positive client experiences in the competitive corporate housing sector.

Job description

Company Overview

BCA Furnished Apartments is a boutique corporate housing and vacation rental company based in Atlanta, with furnished apartments primarily located in Midtown and Buckhead. We provide short-term and extended-stay housing for business travelers, corporate relocation clients, medical professionals, insurance placements, and vacation guests who need a flexible, fully furnished alternative to traditional leases or hotels.

We are a small, entrepreneurial company — and that matters. Our team is lean, hands-on, and highly accountable. Property Managers at BCA are not siloed into one narrow function; they are involved in sales, guest experience, operations, vendor coordination, revenue optimization, and systems management. Decisions are made quickly, ideas are welcomed, and performance has a direct impact on company growth.

Our reputation is built on responsiveness, cleanliness, organization, and strong relationships with both guests and business partners. We operate in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, professionalism, and initiative are essential.

At BCA, you won’t be “one of many.” You’ll have visibility, ownership, and the opportunity to meaningfully influence results. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and taking responsibility in a growing hospitality business.

Position Summary

BCA Furnished Apartments is seeking a driven Property Manager to lead the daily operations, guest experience, and performance of our corporate and short-term rental portfolio in Atlanta’s Midtown neighborhood. This is a highly visible, hands-on role that blends hospitality, sales, operations, and business growth within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

You will serve as the face of the brand, building strong relationships with guests, owners, and vendors while ensuring properties operate efficiently and consistently deliver exceptional experiences. Success in this role requires someone who is persuasive, relationship-oriented, and energized by variety, someone who enjoys solving problems in real time, influencing outcomes, and identifying opportunities to improve performance and drive revenue.

This position is ideal for a socially confident, results-driven professional who thrives in a collaborative and evolving environment where initiative is valued and ideas directly impact business growth. You are equally comfortable engaging with guests, coordinating operations, analyzing performance metrics, and proactively identifying ways to increase occupancy, profitability, and overall guest satisfaction.

If you enjoy autonomy, momentum, and the opportunity to grow alongside a scaling hospitality business, you will thrive in this role.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage weekend property operations, including guest communication, arrivals, departures, housekeeping coordination, and routine property oversight.

  • Respond to guest inquiries and support requests via phone, email, and messaging platforms in a timely and professional manner.

  • Prepare apartments for guest arrivals, ensuring units meet company standards for cleanliness, presentation, and readiness.

  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance vendors to address operational needs and resolve issues efficiently.

  • Conduct property inspections and quality-control checks to ensure apartments remain in excellent condition.

  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and organization across office systems and operational processes.

  • Assist with special projects and administrative tasks as assigned.

  • Work independently while making sound decisions and escalating issues when necessary.

Qualifications:

Required

  • Customer Service Experience – 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, property management, or a related field.

  • Communication Skills – Strong verbal communication skills with confidence handling guest calls and resolving issues professionally. Excellent written communication skills for email and guest correspondence.

  • Organization & Time Management – Highly organized with strong executive functioning skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks while working independently.

  • Problem Solving – Ability to think critically, remain calm under pressure, and resolve guest or operational issues efficiently.

  • Attention to Detail – Demonstrated ability to maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and apartment readiness.

  • Technical Skills – Comfortable using email, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and web-based software platforms.

Preferred

  • Hospitality Experience – Experience working in hotels, short-term rentals, Airbnb, corporate housing, or a similar hospitality environment.

  • Property Management Systems – Familiarity with reservation or property management software.

  • Operational Experience – Experience coordinating with housekeeping, maintenance vendors, or service providers.

Technical Skills

  • Familiarity with Online Travel Agents ("OTAs" such as Airbnb, Expedia, and Booking.com)

  • Experience with Streamline VRS or similar property management software

  • Knowledge of workflow tools such as Jotform or Zapier

Compensation & Benefits:

Hourly Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule

  • Primary schedule: Saturday & Sunday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

  • Approximately 15–20 hours per week

  • Additional hours may be available on Fridays and Mondays based on business needs

Location: Atlanta, GA (in-Office)
