What is remote corporate housing?

Remote corporate housing refers to fully furnished rental accommodations provided for employees or contractors who are working away from their usual home location, often in another city or state. These housing options are designed to offer the comforts of home, such as kitchens and living spaces, while allowing individuals to work remotely. Companies typically arrange this type of housing for business travelers, project teams, or employees on temporary assignments. The goal is to provide a convenient, cost-effective alternative to hotels for longer stays. Remote corporate housing can be found in apartments, condos, or single-family homes.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a remote corporate housing specialist?

To thrive as a Remote Corporate Housing Specialist, you need expertise in property management, client relations, and a strong understanding of corporate housing policies, usually backed by experience in hospitality or real estate. Familiarity with property management software, reservation systems, and virtual communication tools is typically required. Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and customer service orientation help professionals excel in remote environments. These competencies ensure efficient management of housing arrangements, high client satisfaction, and seamless coordination across multiple properties and stakeholders.

What are the main challenges faced by professionals working in remote corporate housing roles, and how can they be managed?

Professionals in remote corporate housing often face challenges such as coordinating logistics across multiple time zones, ensuring smooth communication with clients and vendors, and managing property issues without being physically present. To manage these challenges, it's essential to leverage digital tools for scheduling, communication, and property management, and to establish strong relationships with local partners. Frequent virtual check-ins and clear process documentation can also help maintain high service standards and address issues promptly.

Job description

Analytics Engineer
About National
At National Corporate Housing, we turn complex temporary housing challenges into comfortable, seamless solutions. Since 1999, we've delivered customized corporate housing and 360-degree services to clients around the world - the behind-the-scenes team that makes relocations, assignments, and travel feel like home. We move fast, we care about the details, and we rely on good data to do it well.
The role
We're looking for an Analytics Engineer who is equally comfortable building the pipes and building the reports. You'll sit at the center of our data - modeling it, moving it, and turning it into the dashboards our teams use every day. If you love writing sharp SQL, shaping clean data models, and shipping Power BI reporting that people actually trust, you'll fit right in.
This is a genuinely blended role: roughly half your time is spent building and maintaining the data foundation, and half is spent delivering the analytics and reporting on top of it. You'll work closely with our operations, sales, and finance teams to understand what they need and give them answers they can act on.
What you'll do
• Write, tune, and maintain performant SQL to transform raw data into clean, well-documented models teams can rely on.
• Design and build Power BI datasets, reports, and dashboards - and keep them accurate, fast, and easy to use.
• Own data quality: validate sources, catch issues early, and build the checks that keep numbers trustworthy.
• Partner with operations, sales, and finance to translate business questions into data models and reporting.
• Build and maintain data integrations - pulling from source systems and automating the flows that feed reporting.
• Document your models, metrics, and definitions so the whole company shares a single source of truth.
What you bring (required)
• 3-5 years of experience in analytics engineering, BI development, data analysis, or a similar data-focused role.
• Strong SQL. You write clean, efficient queries and are comfortable with joins, window functions, and data modeling.
• Strong Power BI. You build data models, DAX measures, and polished, reliable dashboards - not just charts.
• A builder's mindset: you care about accuracy, documentation, and making data usable for non-technical teammates.
• Clear communication and the ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.
Bonus points (preferred)
• Microsoft ecosystem. Experience working in a Microsoft-centered technology environment, particularly with Microsoft SQL Server and the broader Microsoft data and application ecosystem.
• .NET applications. Familiarity with .NET applications and architectures, including the ability to understand how application data is structured, generated, and exposed for integrations and reporting.
• Azure integrations. Hands-on experience building integrations and automated data flows using Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and APIs or webhooks.
• NoSQL data stores. Experience working with Azure Cosmos DB or other NoSQL data stores, and modeling that data for analytics and reporting.
• Salesforce schema. A working understanding of the Salesforce data model - objects, relationships, and how to pull and model CRM data reliably.
• Familiarity with version control (Git), data warehousing concepts, and modern ELT tooling.
• Experience in hospitality, real estate, travel, or another operations-heavy industry.
Why you'll love it here
You'll join a company that treats people as the difference-maker and gives you the ownership to do your best work. We offer competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and a fully remote setup with a team that genuinely has your back. Your work won't sit in a drawer - the data you build powers real decisions across the business every day.
Benefits
  • Competitive Salary
    • $90,000-$95,000 Base Salary
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance options
  • 401k plan with discretionary match
  • Company paid life insurance, short term disability, and long term disability
  • Supplemental life insurance, critical illness, accident, and identity theft protection
  • Inclusive Awards and Recognition Program
  • Vacation, sick, and floating holidays
  • Paid time off
  • Paid volunteer time
  • Wellness program
  • Complimentary use of corporate apartments for vacation or travel (when available)
  • National is a drug & alcohol-free workplace. Please note that we conduct a background check and 5 panel drug screen after a contingent offer has been made.
