Job description

Role Summary

The Communication Intern will support the team in various communication-related tasks, including research, content development, story pitching, preparing presentations, and completing assignments as requested by the direct supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Organize bi-weekly meetings between clients and APCO team members
  • Take meeting minutes and share accurate reports with relevant stakeholders
  • Draft basic content pieces for PR and social media channels
  • Complete administrative tasks such as research and email correspondence
  • Maintain client communication via email and phone on routine matters
  • Prepare coverage reports, weekly and monthly summaries
  • Create PowerPoint presentations for internal and client use
  • Support ad-hoc assignments as requested by the Account Director

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or senior student in Mass Communication, Public Relations, International Relations, Marketing, or related field
  • Strong writing, communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Full-time availability for the internship period
  • Fluency in Arabic and English
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Internship duration: 3 months, extendable up to 6 months based on business needs
