Job Title: Substitute - Translators
Job Category: Substitutes - Support (Non-Teaching)

Hourly Rate: per Substitute Handbook
Application Due Date: Continuous
Anticipated Position Start Date: As soon as Board approved
Initial Location: Multiple Buildings


Presently we are seeing English translators fluent in:

  • Japanese
  • Russian
  • French
  • German
  • Arabic

We highly value our substitutes, both Support and Instructional.  Substitutes may work in a variety of areas depending upon their skills and preferences.  

Subbing provides you with the flexibility of accepting or rejecting work opportunities.  It also provides you with valuable work experience, networking with our administrators, faculty, staff and families while developing skills and becoming familiar with district policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Fingerprint clearance through New York State Education Department
