Job description

Suntrup Auto is seeking an Experienced GM Service Advisor to join our team in St. Peters, MO. THIS IS A UNION POSITION.  This role is integral to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our service department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in GM vehicle service advising and a passion for automotive excellence. Pay is weekly salary plus commission. 

Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers bringing in their GM vehicles for service.
  • Provide accurate diagnostics and service recommendations to customers.
  • Schedule service appointments and manage workflow to optimize service department efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with technicians and customers to ensure quality and satisfaction.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and service transactions.
  • Promote additional services, repairs, and maintenance to customers as needed.
  • Increase Labor Gross and CSI 
  • Maintain KPI standards.
Requirements
  • EXPERIENCE WITH CDK AND XTIME 
  • Proven experience as a service advisor in a GM dealership environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • Knowledge of GM vehicles and maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
