Job description

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of:

FOOD SERVICE WORKER

PER DIEM (AS NEEDED)

The FOOD SERVICE WORKER performs entry level tasks related to assembly and distribution of food products (sandwiches, salads, desserts, etc.), operation of service equipment (including industrial dishwasher) and participation of tray line and cafeteria and dining room setup.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • One year food service experience,  preferably in a hospital, group home or similar environment
  • Basic understanding of food service concepts including principles of general food sanitation and safe food handling
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must be able to communicate (speak and understand) in English
