Food Service Worker – Per Diem

Sisters of Mercy Convent & Mercy Center | Burlingame, CA
$19.25 – $26.25 per hour

Looking for a food service role in a calm, respectful, mission-driven environment?
Where your work directly supports a small residential community—not a high-volume public facility?

This is not a restaurant or hospital cafeteria.
This is the Sisters of Mercy Convent and Mercy Center, a private campus serving retired Sisters. We are not open to the public, offering a peaceful, organized, and relationship-based environment focused on dignity, hospitality, and service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up, serve, and break down meal service for breakfast, lunch, and dinner

  • Assist with basic food preparation as directed

  • Support special events, retreats, and catering needs

  • Follow sanitation, food safety, and fire safety procedures
