CNA Position at CDR Health Care Inc.

CDR Health Care Inc. is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) based in the Miami or Naples area who are willing to travel to Ochopee, FL, to provide healthcare services at a detention facility. This role will provide essential support to patients by assisting with daily living activities and helping licensed medical staff during clinical procedures. The position involves monitoring patient conditions, maintaining a safe and clean environment, facilitating patient mobility, and ensuring effective communication within the healthcare team to promote high-quality, compassionate care.

Essential Functions:

  • Monitor and document vital signs, behavioral changes, and physical condition; promptly report concerns to nursing or medical staff.
  • Assist with in-clinic patient transport, including moving individuals between exam rooms, infirmary beds, and procedure areas.
  • Reposition patients in medical beds to prevent pressure injuries and promote comfort.
  • Support patients under medical observation by providing supervised mobility assistance as part of recovery or treatment plans.
  • Maintain infection control standards by routinely cleaning medical equipment and adhering to PPE and sanitation protocols.
  • Assist licensed nursing staff during intake exams, sick call visits, and minor procedures by retrieving supplies and helping with patient positioning.
  • Other duties that may arise from time-to-time and/or are commensurate with the title and position.
Requirements
  • Preferred minimum of 3 years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid Florida CNA License in good standing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage diverse audiences in various settings
  • Strong multitasking abilities, capable of managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills to support a cohesive clinical environment.
  • Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Thorough understanding of patient care policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Flexible availability including late afternoons, evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed to respond to emergencies or critical incidents
  • Willingness to relocate or travel up to 100% as required
