Job description

Food Production Supervisor, Springville NY

Full Time. Evenings.

Part Time. Evenings

The Supervisor is responsible for participating in and supervising meal production and ensuring proper sanitation levels are consistently maintained in Dietary Services.

Duties include staffing or supervision of the meal assembly tray line, transporting meal trays to patients, washing and sanitizing dishes, pots/pans, tools,  loading commercial dishwasher, overall kitchen cleaning and sanitizing.

Supervision duties include assuring all menus have been accurately followed and delivered on time without issue; maintaining patient meal selection system and utilizing tracking software; monitor equipment and temperatures; supervise and support staff in absence of Manager, support and cover associates as needed, support patient care units, and provide strong customer service overall.  

Working hours:

  • 11:00am – 7:00pm. 3:00pm - 7:00pm.

  • Weekend and Holiday hours required.

  • Some Day shift coverage may be required.

Requires

  • HS/GED

  • Previous experience in food service or dietary work required.

  • One (1) year of Supervisory experience strongly preferred.

  • ServeSafe certification preferred.
