Cabinet Manufacturing amp; Finishing Supervisor
Position Summary:
The Cabinet Manufacturing amp; Finishing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the production, modification, and finishing of cabinet components in both small- and large-batch environments, ensuring adherence to safety standards, quality requirements, and production timelines. This role includes supervising support technicians, managing production schedules, coordinating cross-functionally with other departments, and overseeing the operation and maintenance of advanced cutting and finishing equipment. The Supervisor is also responsible for operating CNC machinery and large-scale commercial painting equipment, including spray booths.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Supervise, train, and develop staff, including assigning work, monitoring performance, and conducting regular evaluations.
  • Ensure all manufactured and finished products meet company quality standards and comply with applicable regulations.
  • Utilize the warehouse management system (NetSuite) to update order status, manage workflow, and ensure adherence to production schedules.
  • Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on CNC and painting equipment.
  • Safely operate all required equipment in accordance with company safety policies and procedures.
  • Attend all required meetings and training sessions.
  • Oversee team performance in areas including safety, efficiency, productivity, quality, cross-training, and overtime management.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with other departments and management to support operational goals.
  • Exemplify and promote the companyโ€™s culture, values, and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, 6S principles, and OSHA regulations, and maintain conformity with all company and customer requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Education amp; Skills:
  • Previous experience in cabinet construction and/or finishing required.
  • Experience operating CNC machinery preferred.
  • Prior supervisory experience required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 required.
  • Experience with NetSuite preferred.
Supervisory Experience:
  • Direct responsibility for one or more employees, including hiring, termination, recruitment, and talent development.
