Job description

What Finance Operations contributes to Cardinal Health
Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.
Finance Operations is responsible for the oversight and overall performance of the following core financial processes. This includes pricing administration, rebates, cash application, chargebacks, billing, accounts payable and employee travel & expense.

Responsibilities

  • Perform calculations and tracking of OptiFreight customer rebates & savings guarantees

  • Ensure rebates and savings guarantees are properly accounted for; eligible sales data is reconciled to transactional data and contractual compliance terms are adhered to

  • Provide accrual details to the finance team

  • Assist with the development of plans for future systematic enhancements

  • Both process payments in SAP as well as provide payment details to GenPact for processing

  • Facilitate the exception process for payments outside of contract terms

  • Assist sales team members with documentation for customers

  • Maintain and build cross functional relationships across the Sales, Contracting COE, and Finance organizations to contribute and leverage best practices


Qualifications

  • Bachelors' degree in related field, Finance or similar (preferred)

  • 4+ years of experience in related field, including but not limited to Finance, Audit, or Accounting, preferred

  • Knowledge with SAP, Legal Contracts, and Revenue Recognition standards a plus

  • Data Mining and relevant application tool experience is a plus
