Job description

What you’ll do

  • Partner with freight forwarders to secure ocean/air quotes and bookings (FCL/LCL)
  • Prepare export documentation (Commercial Invoice, Certificate of Origin, IMO/IATA Dangerous Goods declarations, and other required documents)
  • Support international payment workflows (wire transfer, credit card, and letters of credit)
  • Coordinate with production and shipping to confirm product readiness and schedule carrier pickuP.
  • Maintain accurate customer files, contacts, and shipping instructions
  • Provide general administrative support to the export team and management as needed


Requirements (what you bring)

  • Export experience with a working understanding of international shipping processes, documentation, and terminology (PO through delivery)
  • Knowledge of export compliance requirements, including Harmonized System (HS) / Schedule B classification
  • 49 CFR, IATA, and IMDG certification (must have or obtain within 12 months of hire)
  • Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft 365
  • Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and stay focused in a high-demand environment
  • Strong detail orientation


Preferred (nice to have)

  • Proficient in Shipping Solutions and Oracle NetSuite ERP
  • Must have exported to different countries (10-15 ports)
