Export Manager – Mexico, Canada & Asia Location: Remote / Hybrid Compensation: $95,000–$155,000 Annually Salary (Salary and bonus contingent on candidate's experience) Type: Full-Time About the Role: Tri-Vin Wines and Spirits, one of the nation's leading importers and distributors of world-class wines, is seeking an experienced Export Manager to manage and grow our business across Mexico, Canada, and key Asian markets. The Export Manager will be responsible for developing and executing export strategies that drive sustainable sales growth, strengthen distributor and key account relationships, and build long-term brand equity for both Tri-Vin's domestic portfolio and select imported brands. This position is ideal for a self-starter with deep wine industry experience and a proven track record in international markets.

Key Responsibilities: Export Sales & Market DevelopmentALL Develop and execute annual export sales plans for Mexico, Canada, and targeted Asian markets (including Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, and Singapore) Drive distribution, volume growth, and brand visibility across on- and off-premise channels Identify new market opportunities, portfolio gaps, and routes to market aligned with company objectives Manage sales targets, pricing strategies, and promotional programming tailored to local market dynamics Distributor & Key Account Management Build, manage, and support relationships with distributors, importers, and key regional and national accounts Lead regular business reviews, goal setting, and performance tracking with distributor partners Provide product education, brand positioning, and strategic guidance to distributor sales teams Partner with distributors to develop effective launch plans for new brands, vintages, and SKUs Market Execution & Brand Building Represent Tri-Vin in assigned markets through regular in-market visits, trade shows, tastings, and trainings Support distributor ride-withs, sales meetings, and trade education initiatives Collaborate with marketing to ensure consistent brand messaging and execution across regions Monitor competitive activity and evolving consumer trends to inform strategy Planning, Operations & Compliance Coordinate forecasting, inventory planning, and shipment schedules with supply chain and finance teams Manage export-related budgets and contribute to P&L performance Ensure compliance with all local regulations, including labeling, registrations, and documentation requirements Maintain accurate reporting, CRM updates, and market insights for internal stakeholders Qualifications: Minimum 5+ years of export or international sales experience specifically covering Mexico, Canada, and Asian wine markets Strong background in the wine industry (producer, importer, distributor, or related wine role) with solid product and category knowledge Established relationships with key distributors, importers, and major accounts in at least some of the target markets strongly preferred Proven ability to deliver sales growth, manage budgets, and work with P&L metrics Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; comfortable working across cultures and time zones Fluency in English required; Spanish and/or an Asian language a plus Willingness to travel internationally as business needs dictate Proven ability to build trust, loyalty, and credibility with distributor partners, accounts, and internal colleagues Valid driver's license with clean driving and criminal record Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends for appointments and events Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.
