Job Description
We are seeking a friendly and motivated individual to join our team as an Export Assistant. In this role, you will provide support to various departments withing the company and assist with day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate must be fluent in English for correspondence and calls and have experience with Microsoft Office and computers. Knowledge of import/export documents helpful. Handle logistics, customer inquiries, process orders, coordinate shipments, ensure compliance with export/import regulations and track delivery schedules. Knowledge of second language helpful.
Job Description:
- Creates documents for international export
- Correspond by email in a timely fashion
- Prepare freight quotes for international shipping
- Create shipping labels using courier websites
- Answer and direct phone calls / open mail / office administrative duties as needed
