Location: Chicago, IL
Pay: Base $120k-$150k + Uncapped Commission
This is remote position.
Responsibilities:
Results-driven freight forwarding sales professional with expertise in international air and ocean logistics across Transpacific and Transatlantic trade lanes. Skilled in developing strategic sales plans, securing new business, managing the full sales cycle, and building long-term client relationships with importers, exporters, and manufacturers. Experienced in collaborating with operations and carrier teams to deliver competitive logistics solutions, while leveraging market intelligence, CRM systems, and industry knowledge to exceed sales and profit targets.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of sales experience in international freight forwarding or NVOCC environments.
  • Experience working with Asian and European trade lanes.
  • Strong expertise in international air freight and ocean freight services.
  • Proven success developing business within Transpacific and/or Transatlantic trade lanes.
  • Existing customer relationships within import/export, manufacturing, retail, or industrial sectors preferred.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Incoterms.
    • Customs and international trade compliance.
    • Carrier routing and pricing structures.
    • Supply chain and logistics operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate new business and close large strategic accounts.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong entrepreneurial and leadership capabilities.
  • Background selling integrated logistics solutions including:
    • Air Freight.
    • Ocean Freight (FCL/LCL).
