We provide our customers with import and export services, as well as, door-to-door services for both international and domestic needs. About the Position Duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
  • Coordinates with airlines to book air export shipments, prepares shipping documents, tracks and traces shipments and provides updated quotations.
  • Creates internal customer profiles in CargoWise to provide all departments with detailed customer information when needed.
  • Maintains effective communication with internal and external parties through a high volume of e-mails, phone calls and in-person interaction.
  • Generates and monitors reports daily.
  • Creates invoices to be processed for billing purposes.
  • Addresses internal and external inquiries and directs to the correct department if needed.
  • Maintains knowledge of dangerous goods compliance by checking shipping documents and inspecting shipments if needed.
  • Ensures that shipments meet the required TSA regulations.

Work Schedule
New York Office 8:30 am - 5:30 pm EST
(Air department is required to work one Sunday per month on a rotational basis)
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Education & Experience
Associate's degree preferred and six months to one year of related experience.
Experience dealing with a high volume of data entry.
Salary
$55,000-$60,000 annually based on education and experience level.
