Job description

The International Export Sales Coordinator works under the guidance of the Sr. Customer Service Manager in processing orders, preparing export documents, negotiating -Domestic & International on freight rates and processing samples ensuring compliance with US and foreign government laws and regulations.

1st shift: 8:00-4:00 pm

Pay: $20/hr

Job location: Racine, WI

Job type: temp-to-hire

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential Functions Statement(s)

1.Enter, route, and process sales orders.

2.Prepare required export documents in compliance with federal, state and foreign regulations.

3.Negotiate shipping rates with freight forwarders.

4.Process sample requests.

5.Administer ACT! Database.

6.Complete new customer set-ups; trade references, bank info, D&B report.

7.Answer inquiries from brokers regarding commission and sales.

8.Assist the Manager in researching open Accounts Receivable and collections.

9.Assist Director and Managers on special projects such as trade shows and distributor visits.

10.Provide administrative support to Director and Managers.

11.Research damaged freight and process claims.

Requirements

Education: High School diploma, or equivalent.

Experience: A minimum of three (3) years customer service experience. Bilingual preferred.

Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
