What is executive recruitment?

Executive recruitment is the process of identifying, attracting, and hiring highly qualified candidates for senior-level and executive positions within an organization. This specialized hiring process is typically managed by executive search firms or internal recruitment teams with expertise in sourcing leaders such as CEOs, CFOs, and other top management roles. It involves a thorough understanding of an organization's needs, discreet candidate evaluation, and often includes passive candidates who are not actively seeking new opportunities. The goal is to find leaders who can drive organizational success and fit the company culture.

You'll own executive searches from intake through close-developing search strategies, building market maps, engaging passive talent, assessing leadership capability, and guiding stakeholders through complex hiring decisions. Along the way, you'll provide market intelligence, compensation insights, and executive search expertise to help leaders make informed hiring decisions.
This role offers the opportunity to recruit across multiple businesses and functions, helping build the leadership teams that will drive Beast Industries' continued growth.
What You'll Do

  • Partner with senior leaders to define role requirements, success profiles, search strategies, and candidate scorecards.
  • Build executive market maps, identify target companies, and engage exceptional passive talent.
  • Assess candidates for leadership capability, functional expertise, organizational fit, and long-term potential.
  • Advise executives on talent market trends, compensation positioning, and competitive hiring strategies.
  • Drive alignment across hiring teams through structured candidate calibration and search updates.
  • Develop executive talent pipelines across priority business functions.
  • Create a high-quality candidate experience throughout every executive search.
  • Improve executive recruiting processes, assessment frameworks, and search best practices.
  • Manage retained search firms and external recruiting partners when engaged.
What We're Looking For
Minimum Qualifications
  • Demonstrated success leading end-to-end executive searches for Director, VP, SVP, and C-level leaders within high-growth, founder-led, technology, digital media, consumer products, or similarly fast-scaling organizations.
  • Experience partnering directly with founders, C-suite executives, and senior business leaders to define leadership hiring strategies and influence hiring decisions.
  • Proven ability to identify, engage, assess, and close passive executive talent across technical, commercial, creative, and corporate functions.
  • Strong executive search expertise, including market mapping, executive sourcing, structured assessment, leadership interviewing, and executive offer negotiation.
  • Experience advising senior stakeholders on executive talent markets, compensation strategy, and competitive hiring dynamics.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple confidential executive searches while maintaining exceptional candidate and stakeholder experiences.
  • Experience building executive talent pipelines and improving executive recruiting processes, frameworks, or assessment methodologies.
  • Experience managing retained executive search firms or external search partners.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience recruiting across technology, digital media, consumer products, creator economy, or corporate functions.
  • Experience building executive recruiting capabilities within a rapidly scaling organization.
  • Strong understanding of executive compensation structures and organizational design.
  • Track record of building trusted relationships with executive talent and senior business leaders.

The target total compensation ranges from $200,000 - $270,000 including a fixed annual salary of $150,000 - $200,000, an employee equity plan grant, bonus, plus comprehensive benefits.
