Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist the Executive Chef in supervising all kitchen operations, including food preparation, staff training, inventory management, and maintaining high standards of quality, consistency, and presentation. This role requires a passionate leader who values culinary innovation, teamwork, and the creation of exceptional dining experiences for our members and guests.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and menu planning.
  • Oversee and coordinate the work of kitchen staff, ensuring smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
  • Maintain quality control by ensuring all dishes meet the club's standards for taste, temperature, presentation, and consistency.
  • Monitor inventory levels, manage food orders, and ensure cost-effective storage and use of ingredients.
  • Collaborate on seasonal menus, special event dishes, and new recipe development to enhance the club's culinary offerings.
  • Uphold sanitation and safety standards by maintaining a clean, organized kitchen and ensuring adherence to health regulations.
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff to promote skill development and professional growth.
  • Assist with portion control, cost management, and recipe adjustments to optimize kitchen efficiency.
  • Address and resolve any issues that arise in the kitchen, including member feedback and equipment concerns.
