The Associate Territory Manager Surgical supports and reports to the Director of Sales in the coverage and set up of Surgical cases in a designated area through knowledge of our equipment, geography, and facility intricacies.
This job will spend time in hospital operating rooms, surgery centers, and physician offices.
This role is an entry level position to gain access into a medical device surgical sales environment.What do you need to succeed in surgical sales at Bioventus? If you have the drive, we will teach you the rest!
Sales Drive: Has drive and enthusiasm, seems hungry for success, and propels oneself to meet tough targets.
Adaptability: Identifies and adopts the most appropriate style to maximize success in sales situations. Is able to relate to clients or prospects.

Sales Resilience: Is full of optimism and very resilient, perseveres in the toughest situations, is on the lookout for new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develops and maintains product knowledge of BGS and Ultrasonic products
  • Provides case coverage for assigned accounts
  • Identifies upsell/cross sell opportunities and collaborates with TMs to expand accounts
  • Assigned quota based on territory alignment and expected to consistently meet and exceed assigned quota
  • Assist in Coverage of Local Meetings

Job Requirements
  • BA/BS degree;
  • Preference will be given to candidates with a background in nursing, surgical technology, paramedic experience, or B2B sales
  • Medical sales and previous hands-on anatomy lab experience is a plus
  • Must have a valid driver's license in one of the 50 United States is required
  • Exceptional customer service skills, interpersonal and communication skill including proper phone etiquette
  • Computer skills - Microsoft Word, Excel
  • Highly detail oriented with an emphasis on accuracy
  • Maintains an attitude of responsibility, ownership, and accountability
  • Strong sense of decision making, sound judgement and critical thinking
  • Motivated and able to work independently within a fast paced, team environment
