TITLE: SALES MANAGER/LEADER
LOCATION: LIVERMORE, CA
POSITION PROFILE:
Drives to build, develop, and lead a sales team of Managed Services Consultants (New Business Development) to demonstrate customer-minded and consultative selling competencies. Coaches team to leverage business, account planning, pipeline, and opportunity management to achieve objectives. Strong focus on performance improvement through continuous coaching. Responsible for driving results through new business development and expanding services across the customer base.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for driving a sales team to execute Company X Equipment and Services Strategy, capabilities, standards, and actions.
  • Responsible for profitable equipment and core services growth for assigned accounts, including contract retention, expansion, and addition of services.
  • Responsible for New Business Development focusing on Company X hardware and professional services portfolio.
  • Hold Account Managers accountable to drive sales activities, achieving specific KPIs, and closing deals at the client level resulting in deeper penetration into the account.
  • Set Clear expectations by creating rigor and routine and inspecting activity supporting sales objectives.
  • Collaborates with internal resources to align activities, support, and talent to deliver sales.
  • Actively engages peers and specialty areas to address issues or to develop more robust processes for driving growth.
  • Coaches and develops talent.
  • Assesses talent and identifies strengths and weaknesses.
  • Through the defined selling methodology, coach Managed Services Consultant to ensure they grasp the fundamentals and hone their abilities to meet high standards.
  • Create development plans with BTA to continually challenge them to raise the bar.
  • Engages proactively to achieve company financial targets.
  • Inspires team to be positive, have fun and achieve results.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)
  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience of B2B selling products and services.
  • 2+ years of sales management experience managing B2B representatives.
  • Managed Services background a plus
  • Consultative / Sales experience.
  • Industry experience preferred, but not required.
