Job description

Join our dynamic team as an entry-level Talent Acquisition Associate and play a key role in building a high performing team for a fast-paced start up facility.

The Talent Acquisition Associate/Admin will support the Maintenance, Repair, Operations (MRO) organization in attracting and hiring top talent for the Melbourne facility. This role involves managing the logistics of the recruitment process, scheduling interviews, maintaining candidate records, and ensuring a smooth candidate experience from application through onboarding. The Talent Acquisition Associate will also assist with job postings, candidate screening and various administrative tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the HR function. This position reports to the Director HR – MRO Americas.


PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

  • Source candidates for active and pipeline searches, utilizing a multitude of recruitment research methods (e.g. university partnerships, career fairs)
  • Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with
    department managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings. Coordinates logistics with HR team members as needed
  • Support recruiting efforts and attend local, out of state career fairs, college visits and military bases.
  • Support the onboarding process from preemployment through New Hire orientation, which includes completion of I9, safety sensitive paperwork requirements and applicable forms.
  • Maintain employee files and process HR transactions in UKG.
  • Maintains staffing dashboard metrics.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, such as help organizing and planning company events.
  • Serves as DER back-up, supporting the administration and processing of FAA safety-sensitive documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare monthly headcount report – and compile multi-site MRO report.
  • Provides administrative support to the Human Resources department, ensuring efficient coordination of HR-related tasks and documentation.
  • Performs other duties as assigned within HR


MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting or human resources administration
• Familiarity with various recruiting platforms and job boards.
• Full Lifecycle recruiting experience from sourcing to on-boarding.
• Experience with HRIS system utilization and administration (e.g., UKG preferred) and report creation.
• Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
• Proficient MS Office skills – Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams.
• Ability to work in a high dynamic and fast paced start – up work environment.
• Ability to be proactive, be creative, and take initiative.
• Detailed oriented.
• Ability to manage high volume of administrative tasks and recruitment related processing efficiently.
• Demonstrated flexibility and responsiveness to changing priorities.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment in the handling of confidential material and information.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interface effectively with all levels of employees within the organization.

ADDITONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with social media recruitment and sourcing.
  • Exposure/experience in aerospace/aviation industry
  • Familiarity with project management, particularly within recruitment, talent acquisition, or human resources preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish preferred)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

• Full – time- Onsite, Office - based environment.
• Occasional travel (10%-20%) for recruitment events, job fairs or meeting at remote office locations may be required.
• Light lifting may be required when setting up for recruitment and engagement events (e.g. transporting materials, event set –up)
• Occasional overtime may be required to during peak hiring periods or special recruitment and engagement events
• The position may require extended periods of sitting at a desk and using a computer.

The compensation for this position typically falls between $26 and $32 per hour. This position is eligible for overtime. Note, the final compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of relevant experience, Falcon-specific experience, relevant education/certifications, geographic location, and shift.
