Location : San Diego, CA

Employment Type: Contract on W2 (Need US Citizens Or GC Holders Or OPT EAD)
Note:
This is a technician role and the goal is to have people who are experienced in the lab using lab type equipment, not engineers.
3 Must haves on the resume:
  • Minimum education requirement is high school diploma, experience in a lab environment (corporate or school) or technician experience in a regulated environment, experience following written procedures

Job Description:
  • We are seeking a Product Development Tech for our San Diego, CA facility.
  • This person contributes to the completion of routine technical tasks and develops solutions to routine technical problems of specified Scope.
  • Their contacts are primarily with immediate supervisor, project leaders, and other professionals in the unit.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provides completion of technical tasks.
  • Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks.
  • Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes. Produces engineering document, reports, and drawings (flow charts, block diagrams and schematics)
  • Prepares reports and summaries, including quantitative analysis
  • Helps scope equipment for use and complete qualifications
  • Works with team to organize lab functions; including calibration
  • Notifies manager upon recognition of factors that may affect project
  • Helps develop prototype processes and test set-ups
  • Executes designed test protocol and conducts testing
  • Effectively documents and communicates test results
  • Supports hardware debugging

Requirements:
Minimum Requirement:
  • A combination of equivalent education and experience or a minimum of training beyond high school or secondary school in a technical discipline with more than 2 years relevant experience or a combination of equivalent education and experience.

  • Ability to understand and perform designed test procedures
  • The ability to work effectively in a cross functional group is critical
