Job Summary
The Designer/Modeler I - Product Engineering Support role is an entry-level engineering design position responsible for supporting product development activities through 3D CAD modeling, engineering drawings, feasibility testing, and design validation. This position works under the guidance of experienced engineering professionals to develop technical solutions, support testing activities, analyze data, and ensure compliance with organizational standards and engineering requirements.
Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain 3D CAD models and engineering drawings in accordance with established design standards and protocols.
  • Support feasibility testing and validation of engineering solutions by collecting and providing design feedback.
  • Assist in the development and execution of testing standards, procedures, and engineering evaluations.
  • Contribute to product development activities by analyzing data, interpreting technical information, and supporting engineering projects.
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain engineering documentation, reports, spreadsheets, and design records.
  • Resolve routine technical and functional inquiries by following established procedures and escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and applicable codes of conduct.
  • Operate and support engineering equipment and systems while identifying opportunities for process and productivity improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to support project execution and product development objectives.

Years of Experience and Education
