THE ROLE:

Our Product Development Team is looking for an organized and technology savvy Product Development Assistant to work within a fast-paced apparel design department. The Product Development Assistant will provide day-to-day support to the team by helping manage fabric and print development, tracking timelines, maintaining systems, and assisting with follow-up throughout the development process.  This is a great opportunity to learn and contribute to the Product Development Team, while doing important work to keep everything organized. 

Responsibilities:

  • Support Product Development and Design teams and help maintain records over multiple seasons. 
  • Enter and update strike-off and lab dip requests, comments, and data in PLM systems.
  • Create and manage excel fabric charts following seasonal development of divisions fabrications.
  • Organize and track incoming and outgoing development materials.
  • Maintain accurate records, spreadsheets, and development documents
  • Provide additional administrative and project support to leadership and the broader team

The salary range for this full-time role is between $20.00-$25.00/hour.

Requirements

  • Background in fashion preferred
  • Strong computer skills with good Microsoft Suite proficiency
  • Strong attention to detail with skills to accurately enter and maintain data. 
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, problem solver with a flexible attitude
  • Proficient in Excel and Adobe Photoshop
  • Knowledge of Centric PLM and/or Exenta system a plus
  • BA in fashion design or product development a plus
