Overview

Haus Labs  is growing and we are looking for a Coordinator of Product Development to join the team.  This position will report to the Director of Product Development and will be an integral part of the day to day operations. The right person will possess a can-do attitude, be highly organized and excel in handling multiple projects at one time.  You in turn will get the opportunity to be a part of a fun and creative team at the forefront of Haus Labs  product development.

What You'll Do

  • Ship and track product samples across all new projects and testing phases
  • Create and maintain master digital files for upcoming projects
  • Organize and file new standards, ensuring all product retains stay properly maintained
  • Coordinate and mail benchmarks or extracts required for new projects
  • Support the PD team in organizing raw ingredients through proper documentation and filing
  • Research emerging trends for new product inspiration through social listening and trend tracking
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions for new product ideas and concepts
  • Log and track feedback on batch submissions
  • Label and file all batch submissions
  • Document vendor presentations through photos, assist with recaps and sample requests, and organize vendor presentation products
  • Organize products by category in designated boxes within the retains closet
  • Label, separate, and organize master bins by vendor for current projects
  • Archive finalized projects and transfer to seasonal launch bins, organizing alongside related submissions
  • Label, separate, and organize contingent and pending projects
  • Organize and dispose of outdated or rejected submissions
  • Label and organize filing cabinets for new projects to prep for incoming batch submissions
  • Organize and maintain a log of the competitive closet
  • Organize and order PD office supplies as needed
  • Maintain and organize the Haus product library alongside Product Development retains
  • Assist with product swatching
  • Maintain product closet inventory, including reporting and reordering/replenishing supplies as needed
  • Ensure play sets are complete, labeled, and ranked on a quarterly basis
  • Coordinate and book vendor meetings and trade show attendance
  • Share weekly team calendar updates every Friday, including meetings, call-outs, and OOO
  • Assist with archiving and retrieving documents from Cordata
  • Support validation photoshoots
  • Assist in tracking PD office, competitive, and validation-related expenses

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree in Product Development, Marketing or similar area of study
  • Minimum 2  years of related industry experience 
  • Understanding of color theory
  • Proactive, strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be onsite five days a week
