We are looking for a proactive and skilled Inbound Sales Development Representative to join our sales team. Your primary focus will be on converting marketing leads into successful sales for NEOGOV, NEOED, and PowerDMS. You will manage a substantial volume of leads, conduct qualification calls, and set appointments for account executives, by executing strategic follow-ups for webinar and conference attendees. We seek a candidate who can effectively utilize phone and email channels to engage prospects and achieve key performance metrics such as Appointments Set, Appointments Held, and Sales Qualified Opportunities.
This is an on-site role located in Draper, Utah. Candidates must be available to work in the office Monday through Friday during standard business hours. This role involves real-time collaboration with cross-functional teams, participation in team meetings, and active engagement in the office environment.
Work Environment Requirements:
  • This is a full-time, in-office position. Remote or hybrid work is not available for this role.
  • Reliable daily commute to the office is required.

What You Will do
  • Efficiently process marketing leads and rapidly assess and prioritize opportunities for sale, ensuring timely qualification and setting of appointments.
  • Conduct initial discovery calls to align potential clients' needs with the right products and solutions, preparing them for discussions with account executives.
  • Schedule appointments for qualified leads, providing account executives with background information for seamless transitions.
  • Implement strategic follow-up campaigns for prospects from webinars and conferences to secure qualified appointments.
  • Utilize email and phone communication to maintain consistent and personalized engagement, addressing questions, and advancing lead interest.
  • Keep Sales Engagement and CRM systems updated with lead interactions, ensuring data integrity for reporting to the revenue operations team.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly goals including Appointments Set, Appointments Held, and Sales Qualified Opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing to provide feedback on lead quality.
  • Continually update knowledge of NEOGOV and PowerDMS products for effective communication of product benefits and updates.
  • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Who You Are
  • 2+ years of experience as a Business or Sales Development Representative
  • Knowledge of software technology, particularly in SaaS, cloud computing, and enterprise solutions preferred
  • Preferred experience with sales tools, including CRM (e.g., Salesforce), Sales Engagement (e.g., Outreach), and Call Recording (e.g., Gong)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Highly accountable, able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in Google Suite
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
