The Quality Engineering Manager position will include direct communications with the customer(s) and making data driven decisions to ensure quality product is a priority above all.To be successful the candidate must be self-motivated, persistent, quality driven, a quick learner, possess good communication skills, have a positive attitude, and be able work independently, but be a team player. The Quality Engineering Manager will also help to mentor the other Quality Engineers and Quality Engineering Technicians.**Basic Background Requirements*** Utilization of Statistical Analysis & Tools + Chi Square, ANOVA, DOE, SPC* ESD knowledge, GD&T knowledge, MSA knowledge* KEJ Quality Systems knowledge and International Standards (ISO)* Be knowledgeable of applicable customer Quality Standards and IPC Standards knowledge + ISO 9001 + ISO 13485 + AS9100 + IATF16949 + IPC610 + IPC6012* Knowledgeable of Lean Six Sigma Strategy* PPAP Requirements* Experience in Electronics Manufacturing.* Strong mechanical and electronics knowledge and experience* Quality Corrective Action background* Disciplined problem solving approach* Project Leadership skills* Understanding of Lean/Six Sigma concepts and/or certification* Proven success in running Kaizen events.* Proven track record of leading 2nd party audits.* Problem solving techniques and processes* Knowledge of software and applications development processes* Knowledge of AIAG Core Tools* Experience leading a diverse team in a demanding environment**Key Performance Objectives****Short Term: (0 to 3 months)*** Learn the Customer Requirements and Quality flow downs* Learn KEJ systems and controls* Take ownership of the CFT Quality meetings, data for the meetings, action items* Learn Quality and Manufacturing documentation and processes* Provide leadership to Quality Engineering and Quality Engineering Technicians.* Learn and provide input to the Quality Manager in relation to Operational Excellence**Midterm: (3 to 12 months)*** Co-own Corrective Actions to closure internally and externally* Automate systems as controls and reporting* Reduce overall customer PPM, FPY and COPQ metrics* Implement data driven decisions* Understand the cost drivers for COPQ caused during NPI/Production and put actions in place to eliminate the associated costs* Analyze quality data and identify trends* Document implement new processes while continuously improving current processes and documentation* Reviews customer documentation and determines NPI/APQP requirements* Ensures the effective use of material, equipment and personnel in producing quality products at minimum costs and support the development of quotations in response to our customer’s RFQs.*Don’t meet every single requirement?
