About your team :

The EMEA Business Services team provides critical support that ensures Distribution can achieve their strategic and tactical objectives by delivering expertise, support in planning, and project execution. Business Services partners closely with Distribution to ensure initiatives are prioritized, tracked, and delivered efficiently, maximizing impact and enabling successful delivery against plan

  • Dedicated: Provide local resource to enable the delivery of business change initiatives across Sales, Marketing and CRM
  • Connected: Local connectivity to the Distribution Senior Leadership Team and strategic priorities to ensure alignment through a regional leadership
  • Strategic: Specific Country partnerships to drive local connectivity and expertise with opportunity for learning / reuse
  • Efficient: Where there is regional or global commonality of needs, provide access to a central pool of resource to efficiently execute against strategy i.e. AI & Tech
  • Prioritised: Delivery and execution of globally prioritised initiatives

Purpose of the Role :

We are looking to recruit an EMEA Distribution Planning & Execution Manager to provide critical support for the south region with particular focus and understanding of the Italian landscape.

As a dedicated Business Services Manager, you will deliver on the key global and local initiatives and projects required to grow and improve the business, focusing on client centric solutions. The role requires a partnership model with the Head of South Region and local Country Heads to deliver on the strategic and tactical needs of the region.

This role is integral to an energetic, innovative and integrated team. A critical hands-on role which requires a high degree of presentation and organisational skills to support the successful business strategy planning, execution and expertise.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Facilitate the EMEA Strategy and Planning process focused on developing the South Region sales plans and targets
  • Take ownership in delivering solutions that are aligned with strategic roadmap and long-term business goals
  • Ability to work with senior leadership to scope and estimate business requirements, timescales, budget and business as usual resource support needs
  • Establish strong working relationships with all internal partner stakeholder groups, both locally and across the EMEA region
  • Enable the senior leadership team in the development of sound strategies to deliver key business initiatives
  • Evaluate options and present proposed solutions clearly with supporting analysis for validation and review
  • Facilitate the generation of possible solutions to business opportunities and process improvements
  • Contribute to the design of new operating models and business processes
  • Analyse and document current business processes
  • Facilitate the definition of business case, needs and opportunity
  • Produce clear and detailed documentation of business requirements
  • Prepare and present materials at steer committees, business forums and other committees
  • Provide consultancy and support throughout the development and testing stages of a project implementation
  • Work with project teams and business representatives and support the project lifecycle from inception to delivery
  • Responsible for the preparation of monthly update reports and relevant Management Information, plus monthly Business Services communication presentations

  • Fidelity knowledge: be able to navigate the internal organisation to action and/or get information on initiatives which are a priority for the EMEA business. Proven experience in Fidelity would be an advantage.
  • Delivery: work within a high paced environment to continually prioritise and ensure delivery of outputs on time and to high quality. Ability to work at different levels of detail and be able to concisely summarise complex issues.
  • Business awareness: clear understanding of the business strategy, objectives and priorities, as well as the systems organization and infrastructure.
  • Communication: excellent communication skills and ability to influence drive and motivate agendas and teams outside direct reporting lines.
  • Focus: Analytical, logical and methodical. Strong numerical skills possibly gained in a finance or strategy environment. Excellent planning, prioritisation, problem solving and organisational skills. Experience of balancing multiple tasks and playing different roles depending upon the scope of the issues. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; strategic and creative thinking aptitude. Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills. Ability to manage priorities and adapt to meet requirements of the team
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint and/or demonstrated willingness to improve these skills
  • Fluent in both Italian and English
