Job description

As a Compliance Specialist - Document Control with NVR Mortgage, you will directly support our mortgage operations through our Ryan Homes, NVHomes and Heartland Homes brands. In this role, your strong attention to detail will allow you to support testing in our Loan Origination System (LOS) as well as leveraging technology to enhance processes and practices between the branches and corporate departments. Managing loan documentation, templates and fee tables within our LOS provides our Mortgage Loan Officers and Processors the assistance needed for a smooth mortgage loan process, from loan application to loan closing.
This position is based on-site in our NVR mortgage offices.
What you will be doing:
  • Work in partnership with NVRM's Loan Origination System (LOS) and NVR IT to support and perform LOS documentation testing for all custom and standard documents.
  • Prepare, test and review documentation updates as well as system changes as they occur.
  • Collaborate with NVRM IT to prepare, review, and file (as required) quarterly/annual Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) reporting for both government submission as well as third-party review for Fair Lending analysis.
  • Assist in the coordination regarding required reports and/or documentation necessary for state audits.
  • Remain current with regulation changes from governmental/state agencies, as well as policy changes from Federal National Mortgage Association (FNMA), Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation (FHLMC), Federal Housing Administration (FHA), US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), and NVR Mortgage and any other agency affecting the company's loan production process.

Qualified applicants have:
  • Two (2) years of experience working with a financial institution preferred
  • Working knowledge of real estate documentation, policies, compliance, and procedures a plus
  • Strong organization skills, exceptional attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
